BACKGROUND

​

I have over a decade of experience serving at-risk adolescents throughout diverse roles in the public education system, and my clinical tenures allowed me to develop expertise in treating a multitude of presenting problems for all populations, including PTSD, depression, grief, trauma, insomnia, and addressing the functional needs of the chronically mentally ill. I have had the privilege to do research in the areas of sexual assault, transgender transition, and PTSD, along with presenting at conference regarding improving education services for marginalized African American males. My additional areas of interest include serving our military families, LGBT advocacy, political consultation, couples therapy, metaphysical influence, and performance psychology. I most recently completed an assignment in international social work serving military families, and I also act as an adjunct professor for my alma mater, UWF.
